Before moving to our new home, we only decorated for Christmas. So, the past two years have been new to decorating for Halloween.
Last year I created simple light up DIY ghosts for our front steps.

This year I’m adding to the ghost theme with another simple DIY. I was inspired by Jenna Sue designs on Instagram.
I purchased yard stake plastic ghosts from Amazon. Most of the ghosts had smiling faces. I redrew the mouth and eye shapes. Then, I cut them out with an Exacto knife.

Once the ghost cut outs were complete, I added them to the yard with solar spotlights focused on them.

Here is the finished look.

The kids enjoy seeing the ghosts so big on the house as we drive into the neighborhood. This was a quick and easy DIY that I feel has a big impact. One that can be used over and over each year.
