Closet Upgrade: Motion Sensor Lights

Over the past few months, I’ve been sharing our closet makeover. One of the things I mentioned in the beginning of this makeover process was the weirdly placed light switch.

Our closet light switch is located on the outside of the closet (let me know in the comments if your closet light is like this also) and a bit far from the door frame. Now that our closet doors open out into the room, it makes turning the light on and off a bit awkward.

So, a convenient solution I found were motion sensor lights.

I ordered 4 of these motion sensor lights from Amazon. They are the best, and one of my favorite things about our new closet. They are rechargeable, and I’ve found that one full charge lasts for more than a month.

Each light comes with a set of magnets, you place the magnets where you would like the light to be mounted and then add the light to the magnets. The lights are easy to take on and off, and very lightweight. They also come with 3 settings: ON, OFF and Motion Sensor, so you don’t have to keep the sensors on.

Having the sensor lights added into the closet makes our need to use the light switch minimal and for me, the closet just functions better.
