It’s done! It’s been a long week of cutting, gluing, drilling and painting, but the closet system is fully installed! I love the look of it and all of the storage and extra rack space it will allow us to have in the closet. Although the system is 14.5 inches wide, it’s still not too large in the space and we have plenty of room to move around the closet. We set the shelves and tower at 6′ 8″ which will allow for storage on top of the shelves, which we definitely needed.

I will say, that if you are looking for an easy fit closet system, this one may not be for you. Because the studs in our closet walls weren’t in alignment with the measurements of the brackets, this closet system did take some custom adjustments. We had to fix shelving, purchase smaller adjustable rods and additional brackets. But the quality of this system is great. Its heavy, with soft closing drawers, and well-made parts. Overall, even with the difficulties we had installing it, I would buy another one.

Up next – we are swapping out the closet door for a DIY double door and I’m planning for all the fun details inside.

Oh my gosh it’s GORGEOUS! Look at that ceiling, too! I cannot imagine where you get the time and energy to do these things but I am so impressed — you’re really making this house *your* home. Beautiful! xox
