Affordable Storage Solutions from The Home Edit

Have you seen The Home Edit on Netflix? It’s a show where 2 professional organizers help people transform spaces in their homes that are problematic.

I like the show because I like an organized space, but also because the women in the show explain the logic behind the organizing, so if you want to try something in your own home you can.

They have a product line I recently found at Walmart. I have been looking for something to contain the kid’s bathroom drawers, and I thought originally about bamboo organizers but when I saw these I knew I wanted to give them a try, for the affordability and amount of containers provided.

The package came with 10 containers of different sizes, which I knew would be more than enough for each of the kids drawers.

I began by cleaning out the drawers, wiping them down and then placing the containers in the drawers in a grid that would work for each kid.

Then I added the items back into the drawer, organizing them within the containers and editing out any items that didn’t need to be in the drawers.

Overall, I like the containers, they are thick, and easy to clean with soap and water. They also are deep, so a lot of things can fit into one container. I’m going to see what other offerings The Home Edit has and will most likely purchase more of their storage options for the kitchen when we redesign it.

My daughter has also asked to make some changes to her closet and I think some of their closet bins may help.
