Transforming My Daughter’s Room: Accent Wall Ideas

I canโ€™t believe itโ€™s been almost a year since I first finished my daughter’s room in our house. To see the completed room click HERE.

I loved all the big and small projects that went into completing her room. But there was one idea I had for her room that I never completed. It was an accent wall.

Originally I was inspired by this wood-patterned accent wall. However, the process and lack of tools proved to be a challenge. So I scrapped the project for a later date in hopes that I would want to revisit it.

Iโ€™m glad the challenges along the way made me pause on creating that accent wall. Because, over time Iโ€™ve realized that the original pattern I liked doesnโ€™t really fit the personality of my daughter or the mood of her room. But I did find a pattern I think she will like and will work over time in the space.

Iโ€™m looking forward to this project, I think it will give height and a bit more depth to her room, while not being too busy. Iโ€™ll be sharing the process in my next blog post
