Celebrating One Year as Homeowners

I can’t believe it’s been one year in our new home. I’m filled with so much gratitude. When thinking about our home, its the small things like having a yard for the kids to play in, that make such an impact, especially when so often as renters we had none. Having nice neighbors, and feeling welcomed in a new community has been great as well.

Being first-time homeowners, we’ve learned a lot about things like HVAC filter replacement, and filters in general. Winterizing our home and reading up about yearly home maintenance to make sure we are doing everything correctly.

I’ll be sharing more about the things we’ve learned this year, outside of my DIY projects, and how we maintain our home and the larger ticket items within it, like the washer/dryer and kitchen appliances.

I have to say again, how truly grateful I am, and can’t wait for many, many home anniversaries to come. As we continue to make our home all that we envision it to be, I hope you will follow along and check in as we plan projects and make changes to the interior and exterior little by little, because we’ve only just gotten started.
