Of all the projects I have done in our home, to date, this has been the most challenging. The angle in which I had to apply the wallpaper proved to be harder than I had imagined it would be. So in this process there were many nights of using a heating pad on my shoulders and neck. As Iโve work on this space Iโve shared the clean out, the inspiration and progress and now Iโm finally sharing the finished wallpaper project!

Iโm so happy with the way the plaid design looks on the ceiling, I think it gives the space some visual interest, but also makes it feel bigger.
Below is an image of where we started, when the rack in our closet fell, and left us without a fully functional closet.

Here is where we currently are. New paint color, new light fixture and wallpaper.

There is still quite a bit to do in this space. One of the first things Iโm looking forward to doing is replacing the closet door. The builders put the door in wrong, so it opens into the closet, which doesnโt allow us to utilize the full area.

Beyond the closet door, I plan to do a bit more painting, then installing the closet system and finally adding in all the fun design details. Iโll continue to share all the progress as I work on completing this space.

Thank you! Matching the plaid was difficult, but you know me, I couldn’t let the lines be off. Lol.
