Paintable Outlet Covers

While designing my daughter’s bedroom one of the small details I added to her room were paintable outlet covers. I liked them so much, I ordered them to put throughout our house.

I purchased the outlet covers on Amazon. The covers were so easy to paint, that I let my children paint the first coat of paint on each cover. Once dry, I painted the second coat.

While the kids and I painted, Cruz worked on fixing the positions of the light switches. They were all crooked, and he had to adjust all of them to be parallel in order for the new covers to rest correctly in place.

Once the switches were adjusted I added the covers and love the look. They blend nicely, which makes them less of a focal point on the wall.

I plan to switch out all of the outlet covers as we finish painting each room of the house.
